NOS 2020 Stats

We had our baby boy 2 weeks ago and he still hasn't got a name. I was hoping the NOS dataset being released today may help us just to see if the names in our shortlist were going up or down in popularity but I can only find the press release. Will the excel table be uploaded today or have I delayed for 2 weeks for absolutely no reason?!
Thanks

@bloominglovelyorange I think it was you I was thinking of. I love the name Rowan on a girl Smile I think Roman is dissimilar enough to Rowan, plus it being a boy's name, hopefully there won't be too much confusion.

@thewhatsit I still don't know any Romans, so the leap did surprise me - sudden jumps in popularity seem more unusual in boys names.
I was surprised by Arabella, I thought it would be on a downward trend, along with the various Isabella/belle and Ella type names. It looks like it might instead have been chosen by parents who wanted something like Isabella but less popular...

I still don't know any Olivers or Olivias under the age of about 30.

Sorry that we've taken over your thread with ONS talk, OP. Glad the stats have helped you with your own decision. Smile

I am happy for people to keep discussing names! I am so obsessed that it has made the decision almost impossible for me haha
