Hi all!
We still struggling with a name for our little boy... we have just massively over thought it now.

Which one goes best -

Our little girl is Imogen Rose Dyson

We are down to-:

Luca Oliver Dyson
Archie Luca Dyson
Luca James Dyson

Thank you xx

Of the three - Luca James Dyson for me. Archie is a bit too trendy, although Luca is perhaps slightly exotic sounding compared to Imogen (Luke or Lucas feel more a similar style imo)

Imogen is quite classic and also Celtic origin so if you want other suggestions, maybe Owen, Evan or Rhys? (Owen is my fave). It's also Shakespearean, so there's also the many commonplace "English" boys names also used by Shakespeare - Hugh, Henry, Arthur, Thomas, Toby, William, Edward, Edmund, Adam, Peter, Robert, Michael, Nathaniel, Charles, Alexander, Frederick, Nicholas, John, Christopher, Marcus, Francis, Laurence, Matthew....

Archie, it is a classic that is actually starting to fall out of fashion.
Luca is too trendy

How many of the same thread, just call him Luca!

What about
Louis Oliver Dyson
Zachary Louis Dyson

Luca James of your list.

Given the dis/likes of you and your DH, how about Arthur instead of Archie? Henry or William might work?

alpinerain · 17/10/2021 01:50

I love Luca Oliver or Archie Luca. Smile

From your choices, definitely Luca Oliver.

I'm not keen on Archie, sorry, and would avoid the combination of James Dyson (even as middle + surname), although I do like James. I like Luca, although prefer Luke or Lucas.

Imogen is so lovely, her brother needs something equally as interesting.

Imogen and...
Timothy Luca
Tobias Luca
Gregory Luca
Sebastian Luca
Nathaniel Luca
Barnaby Luca

I wouldn’t pick Luca. Archie isn’t my cup of tea either, but it’s slightly better than Luca - to me. But you obviously like it, as you have it down twice. Louis is good. Or Lewis, even.

Cantstopthewaves · 17/10/2021 21:20

Luca Isaac would be my choice.
