What middle name would you put with Luca?
Can you use Luca if you are not Italian?

I love the name Luca, I know a few without Italian heritage.
It goes well with classic longer names:

I think Luca is a bit silly if you’re not Italian. I do know a couple - now in their mid-20s - but both have Italian links. I think Luke, Lucas, Lucien, Lucius, etc, are better. But if you like it, I’d pick a classic middle name. I’d be tempted to use something that ends in a stronger consonant sound than Oliver. Edward. Benedict. John. Etc.

I have a Luca James, not having Italian heritage really is not an issue.

I know lots of boys named Luca and none of them have Italian heritage. I'm not convinced Oliver goes with it as a middle name though because they both have the 'uh' ending.

I think Luca is going to become really popular really quickly because of the Disney Pixar film. The same way Arlo has after The Good Dinosaur. I don't think you need Italian heritage to use it though.
