What did you choose in the end? 2021 - BOYS

There are lots & lots of threads with ideas and potentials but very few places where we can see what names were actually chosen! What did you go for in the end? Be lovely to see the trends of each year!

I found boys names so so much harder than girls.

In the end we went with Zachary. He's two now and I'm still not in love with the name!

Not 2021 but 2019. He’s Francis.

I really, really struggled with boys names.

The latest data is from 2019 though - unless I’m kidding something?

2017- Theodore
2019-Robin (miscarriage)
2020-Ethan (stillbirth)
Baby due Jan 2022-Lucas

Baby due next year is already named and it won't change because our living D's kept asking if it was his dead brother coming back so he needed to be named to help him understand that it's a new baby.

@BeKindBeYou The 2020 ONS data should have been out in August but has been delayed twice and now doesn’t have a date.

@TakeYourFinalPosition - we now finally do have a date for the official statistics - it's next monday (18th) - not that I've been checking or anything!

Not mine but last baby boy I know born this year is a Raymond!

Am so sorry for your losses of Robin and Ethan, and wish Lucas (lovely name, btw) a safe arrival into the world.

We chose Nathaniel for our boy this year.x

We went for Otis in the end ! I had real trouble choosing a boys name 😂 x

I think that is a lovely name.

I had a girl but our chosen boys name was Joshua.

If our little one had been a boy, we were going to use John.
