What are your opinions on this girl's name.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Tal45 · 06/10/2021 13:51

Oooh I like Naomi. Noa is too popular as a boys name IMO though.

Blubells · 06/10/2021 13:55

I much prefer Noa as a girls name (than Noah for boys). It sounds feminine and beautiful.

Augustbaby21 · 06/10/2021 13:59

I really like it

BananaPB · 06/10/2021 14:03

I really like it but she will regularly get comments about the name Noah and in this day and age it wouldn't surprise me if a comment about gender followed.

(I'm assuming that you live in the UK)

milkytwilightt · 06/10/2021 14:03

Kate Lawler from big brother named her baby girl it I think. I really like it

TatianaBis · 06/10/2021 14:03

It's ok a bit meh.

daisyjgrey · 06/10/2021 14:09

I like it, and it's patently obvious how to pronounce it.

8lue8ird · 06/10/2021 14:22

I love it

bubblepond · 06/10/2021 14:24

I love it
It's on my list but DH isn't a fan Sad

roadwarrior · 06/10/2021 14:37

It's a beautiful name OP!

OddsNSodsBitsNBobs · 06/10/2021 14:40

I know one, 6 years old and she's lovely. Beautiful name and that comes from someone who has DC with plain jane names. Go for it!

Doubledoorsontogarden · 06/10/2021 14:41

It’s a fragrance

NerrSnerr · 06/10/2021 14:41

I think it's a lovely name but agree it could get very annoying.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 06/10/2021 14:42

I like it probably because I know a Noa (in her mid 30's) & she's absolutely lovely.

scrivette · 06/10/2021 14:43

Kate Lawler's baby who is about 9 months old is called Noa, it's lovely and I prefer it for a girl.

Abouttimemum · 06/10/2021 14:44

Nope sorry

Bazinga007 · 06/10/2021 14:45

Awful, she will be known as No a.

NigellaSeed · 06/10/2021 14:45

I like it

LavenderBlue95 · 06/10/2021 14:52

It was an extremely popular name in my due December group, I think it’s nice though Flowers

Blubells · 06/10/2021 15:56

I like it, and it's patently obvious how to pronounce it.

I agree. I couldn't understand why some posters were wondering how to pronounce it!

garlictwist · 06/10/2021 17:13

I'd think you were Jewish. Not that that matters, but something to bear in mind.

Balonzette · 06/10/2021 18:28

I ADORE Noa!

Such a beautiful Old Testament girl's name, so underused, and also a cool strong woman for your daughter to have as a namesake to look up to!

Noah as a boy's name is popular yes, but I really do not think it will be a problem. I'd be really shocked if it was ever an issue. I drastically prefer Noa for a girl than Noah for a boy.

I wouldn't assume you were Jewish, but would wonder whether you might be Jewish or Christian. Wouldn't be shocked if I found out you weren't though.

alpinerain · 06/10/2021 20:04

I love it. It's a very common girls name in Spain.Smile

Fivebeanchilli · 06/10/2021 20:46

It's popular in the Jewish community near me. I would just assume you were Jewish but I don't have any other opinion on the name really. I don't love it but there's nothing wrong with it. I think it's a bit meh for a girl or Noah for a boy.

DramaAlpaca · 06/10/2021 21:07

I don't mind that version on a girl. Which is very odd as I can't bear the boys' name Noah Confused
