Surname is 1 syllable and literally any name goes with it

I never understand occupation names personally, why would you want your child to have a name that literally means someone who transports goods in carts?

Dylan. I don't normally bother about the meanings of names but with Carter the meaning is so literal. Everytime i hear it i picture some guy humphing round a laden cart.

Dylan is lovely. I don't really get the "profession/surname as first name" thing personally (Tyler/Tiler, Taylor/Tailor, Mason etc) but I don't think Carter has a particular nice sound either. Maybe Clark instead if you want to go down that route?
