Name ideas for our first little girl <3

We are struggling a lot to find a name for our daughter due in September. We found boy names so easy for our other children! However, really struggling for our first little girl!

We each like names, but not love, and we both like different names lol! Here are a few ideas:

Ava (we both really like this but it’s so popular and one of us in particular really wants to avoid a popular name!)

Wait and see what she looks like. There’s no rush to name babies. I had Elizabeth for my daughter but once she was born she definitely wasn’t an Elizabeth.

I'm personally not a fan of Amber, Elsie or Betsy. I love Ava and Belle!

Since you both like Ava, what about Avia, Aviana or Avalon?

Ada is similar to both Ida and Ava so that could also work!

Ava IS lovely, but so popular (especially when you add in the Eve/Eva/Evelyns) I think better to avoid. Esme is also nice but v popular (I’d avoid the unusual spelling honestly). I am not keen on the others - I find Ida quite ugly and the rest a bit fussy/wet.

I actually prefer your spelling of Esmae as it is obvious how it is supposed to be pronounced. I've met Esme's pronounced Es-mee and Es-may so it is open to confusion.

Also that should say Sylvie not Sylvia.
