Bear

Fully prepared for this one to get pulled apart. Me and DH love the name Bear but know it's a bit out there.

We really don't like names like Edward which Bear comes from, just Bear itself.

What do people think?

To explain myself- Bear was in the top 400 boy names in 2018 and 2019. Of the thousands and thousands of names chosen, Bear made the top 400. And it's rising! Look out top 350 I say!

Agree to disagree. We'll see what happens but that graph of "Bear" is looking 📈 like the upswing it losing a bit of momentum but may continue for some time yet!

For example- In 2007 the name Bear was outside the top 3,000 (!!) names and yet it's now in the top 400! For some people the name Bear will now be too popular for them and be ruled out! I've seen people on here say they want a name that's used under 50 times a year.
