Help me decide on girls name

1 month until my due date and we have narrowed our girls names down to either Phoebe Evelyn or Ada Florence. Which should we choose?

I'd go for Ada Florence.

Both lovely. Choose whichever sounds best with your surname, or see what she looks like when she arrives.

Phoebe is not my taste (not keen on the sound). It also seems a slightly different style to your other choices as Ada, Evelyn and Florence are all retro/vintage popular - I do like them though, so I'd go for Ada Florence personally.

Not keen on Ada at all. It's the wrong kind of old lady name for me personally and also reminds me of udders

Phoebe for the first name but will you pronounce Evelyn with an 'Ev' or Eve' sound at the start? If it's the latter, I'd avoid using Evelyn so the names don't run into each other e.g. Phoebeevlyn

Ev-uh-lyn, I did think about the Eve-lyn thing which was what was putting me off a bit I think

All lovely names, I think I’d choose Phoebe Florence combination though if it were me. Good luck.

I love Evelyn Florence. Sorry, I know that's not one of your options, but it really works. Ada is a little too old fashioned for me.

You’ve got excellent taste, my cousin has 3 daughters - Phoebe, Ada and Florence. Grin

If I had free reign of the 4 names listed I’d go Florence Evelyn but of your two combinations I’d go Phoebe Evelyn. Not such a fan of Ada as the others, mostly due to its shortness. All gorgeous though.
