Irish boy name help / pronunciation confirmation

We are Irish - American and have always used Irish names as a nod to a heritage we are proud of. We keep it simple, nothing too complex. Very stuck on a boy name. I just saw Cáel and wonder how that is pronounced. Is it just like Cale? Or am I missing a subtle difference? I don't want to give a name unless I can properly pronounce it. This one looks like it wouldn't be too far from how it looks. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. Open to other suggestions too! I like that one, Callum, Caleb (not Irish I know but middle name could be if I use this). Doesn't have to start with C. Our last name is Irish, 2 syllable, starts with C.
Thank you so much for any help!

The fada above the a gives it a different pronunciation, if you took the fada off I’d pronounce it as Cale. forvo.com/word/cáel/

That might help you understand a bit better. I love the name though
