I dislike my son's name

So a short version, I gave my son a middle name which is easier to proununce for my family back home on mainland, it also can used in the UK, where we are living. We recently visited my family and I can't stand the name. I don't feel that it suits him well and more stupidly it sounds familiar than my nephew's name (their names start with the same letter) and family members just keep messing them up. (That would bother me less, but I just don't "feel" the name). My son is already a few months old. I do deeply regret my son's name choice.

Then change it.

Change it before he's old enough to recognise it as being his name,

My friend changed her son's number at 18 months as she wasn't comfortable with it. Change it!

number!!! I mean name, of course

You can change it on their birth certificates before they're 12 months

My problem is a bit that my family loves the name. I know they would tell me that the prefer theis name than the name I would like to give my son now.

It’s not your family’s decision to make, you’ll be the one shouting it up the stairs for the next 18 years!

Change it! I changed my DD name at 3 weeks old, best decision I made, can't even stand hearing her old name now

You say middle name. Why are they using his middle name and not first name?
