Rosalind and Clara

To me, these names are really complimentary without being matchy matchy. I already have a Clara so this would be for a sister. Do you think they are good together?

Rosalind is gorgeous and goes beautifully with Clara. Good choice.

emmathedilemma · 06/08/2021 13:25

A solid match!

ScantRegard · 06/08/2021 13:28

Yes they make a good sisterly pairing.

Clara would be a society belle and marry an Earl. Rosalind would snort at marriage and go up to Oxford to become a radical bluestocking and member of the Fabian society.

They work well together. They sound different but have a similar vintage feel to them.

woodfort · 06/08/2021 18:07

I think they are both beautiful names.

DH never liked Clara, no idea why.

TatianaBis · 06/08/2021 18:56

I would choose Rosalie with Clara.

StevieNix · 06/08/2021 19:02

I think they sound absolutely beautiful together, although I personally I prefer Rosalie to Rosalind.

TheRosariojewels · 06/08/2021 19:06

I love Rosalind.

sleepyhoglet · 06/08/2021 19:38

Just hoping for a girl now!

Very pretty. I have a Rosie but always end up calling her Rosalind as a ‘nickname’ although should probably be the other way around!

MojoJojo71 · 06/08/2021 19:45

Lovely, they are both gorgeous names and go so well together

sleepyhoglet · 06/08/2021 20:19

Don't have a boy name yet but feel like Edward might be a good match. Really struggle and end up for solid traditional like John or Robbie or a little pretentious like Lucien/Caspian! I just find girls easier to name.

Lovely, also really like Edward.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 06/08/2021 22:24

Love Rosalind - elegant and Shakespearean (as long as you don't mind nn Roz - all the ones I've met have been Roz unfortunately). Works well with Clara as it's traditional sounding without being too matchy. Love Edward too - equally traditional and timeless feeling.

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 06/08/2021 22:28

Those are all lovely names.

Ritasueandbobtoo9 · 06/08/2021 22:30

I know a couple of Roz! Nice name.

DramaAlpaca · 06/08/2021 22:31

Great choice.

Straycats · 06/08/2021 22:36

My oldest is Rosalind Juliet, still love the names.
