The only Indigos I’ve come across are female... not sure why so many are saying it’s a male name.

Anyway, I like:

I've only ever heard it as a boys name. I think you need to go with a one syllable name like May or Rose.

When unusual first names are used, I would go with a classic middle name so there's something to fall back on in case the child needs/wants it.
