What type of unusual are you looking for
I mean there aren’t going to me Susans or Sharons running around now. Do you want heard of but not in the top 100 eg Faye, Lois Iona.
Or something extravagant such as

Trixibelle.
Illiana
Calicia

Very old fashioned type of unusual
Bunty
Sybil

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 04/07/2021 18:08

Also unusual is very subjective. I’ve just seen April suggested. However I don’t think I’ve ever been out and not heard a little April being called.

LuckyLuckyWoman · 04/07/2021 18:10

Agatha
Marianne

NuffSaidSam · 04/07/2021 18:19

How funny! According to ONS April hasn't been in the top 100 since 1904!

Maybe you just keep bumping into the same little April? 😂

Kanaloa · 04/07/2021 18:22

Of course that should say Viola - please don’t name your child Voila.

Classica · 04/07/2021 18:24

It would work well with an exclamation mark though. Voila!

**Classica

It would work well with an exclamation mark though. Voila!

It would make introducing her interesting for sure. And certainly unusual.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 04/07/2021 18:52

Margaux is a wine (and would have been MN name had some bugger not beaten me to it).

As a given name, maybe go for the spelling Margot...

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 04/07/2021 18:55

@Kanaloa I'm so glad you corrected yourself, I've seen some odd name suggestions on here but Voila Grin

Kanaloa · 04/07/2021 18:58

Well op asked for unusual! Doesn’t get better than Voila! Grin

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 04/07/2021 23:48

@NuffSaidSam. 😂😂😂

AlwaysNapTime · 04/07/2021 23:56

I've just named my baby girl Harlow. I also have a Piper. I have never met any others of either!

TwinsAndTrifle · 04/07/2021 23:58

Eurus. As in "the east wind"

I love it. Got vetoed by DH who said it was akin to Anus Grin

It would work well with an exclamation mark though. Voila!
She'd only get called "eh wallah" by the usual suspects, though! Wink
