Due my first girl anytime and shes nameless, i have some names on my shortlist, but i cant choose, they are:

Amelia-Bea
Sofia-Bea
Gracie-Bea
Mila-Bea

Any other name suggestions welcome And the Bea is a must after my late nana, also middle name will be Coline after my late dad Colin who past away not long ago when i was 7 months pregnant :(

Just Bea is fine.

I agree with @AnyaMoondial Both posts

Congratulations Thanks btw I ended up deciding on names for my daughters a day after they were born Grin had a shortlist but couldn't decide

Sofia Bea Coline & Mila Bea Coline are my favourites. I would go without the hyphen, I think it takes away from the loveliness of the names.

KirstenBlest · 03/07/2021 14:49

Amelia-Bea
Sofia-Bea
Gracie-Bea
Mila-Bea

All are very popular names with a hyphen added. Pick a different first name and no hyphen. Beatrice would be lovely.

I'd spell Coline as Coleen because Coline looks and sounds like Choline, which is a nutrient.

KirstenBlest · 03/07/2021 14:50

Just seen the Collette suggestion. Lovely. Spell it Colette.

Beatrice Colette is smashing.

Classica · 03/07/2021 15:31

Sorry for your loss, OP Flowers. A tough time to lose a loved one.

I think the hyphen might be a problem for her. If I heard Amelia-Bea, I'd assume she was Amelia B, surname beginning B. And Daisy Bea sounds like a cute bee cartoon character. But would be way too cutsie for your daughter when she's 40. Have you considered just having your granny's name as your baby's first name? Bea short for Beatrice/Beatrix is lovely and simple.

FayeFayeFayeFayeFaye · 03/07/2021 20:29

Sorry OP but I don’t think when she’s an adult she’s going to want -Bea as a name, it’s too twee and cutesy. Use it as a middle name.

ArchbishopOfBanterbury · 03/07/2021 22:04

I like Amelia and Sofia, but I really like Beatrice/Beatrix.

Beatrice Colette Sofia?

whattodo2019 · 03/07/2021 22:53

I like Mila.
I really dislike hyphenated names they sound so tacky.
Love Bea but would probably chose Beatrix
I respect that you want to use a feminine version of Colin but not sure about Colin's.
Colina or Colette would be nicer.

PurpleFlower1983 · 04/07/2021 06:24

Just use Beatrice and call her Bea-bea or Bebe.

Almondcroissant25 · 04/07/2021 16:02

Drop the hyphen, double-barrelled first names are so tacky. Bea as the first of two middle names is just beautiful though.

ILoveShula · 04/07/2021 16:16

Honey-Bea?

EssentialHummus · 04/07/2021 16:21

Everything chips said.

Chachachawoo · 04/07/2021 18:45

I would go for Beatrix Colette
