Favourite old fashioned/traditional/vintage baby names?

Hello!

I am looking for name inspiration for baby number 2. I have an Eliza already, and would love something that fits with her name.

My taste is more classic traditional, but the hubby would probably go for something traditional but a bit more unusual (if that makes sense!) He doesn't seem to like the most popular traditional names. Any ideas? What are your favourites? For a boy or girl.

It's a bit subjective to ask for our favourites when you have your own style.
Not everyone likes vintage names. Not that they are, but My favorite names could be Jayden and Chardonnay.
I can give you suggestions though on what you might like

Eliza is an traditional nickname now current/trendy again, so the first names that sprang to mind for me were similar Nell, May, Annie and Kitty (could be Helena/Eleanor, Mary/Maria, Anna and Catherine if you wanted longer versions for the BC).

Otherwise I think other retro/vintage names like Cora, Freda, Iris, Lillian, Florence, Clara, Vivien, Louisa, Josephine etc sound nice with Eliza.

For boys I would either go very timeless (so suits any sibset) like Edward, Thomas, James, Alexander, Charles, George, William etc

Or more traditional sounding - John, Robert, Frederick, Alfred, Henry, Phillip, Hugh, Wilfred etc
