Opinions on the name Beatrice?

Due my little girl anytime and im so stuck on a name, my nans name was Beatrice and i was going to use as middle name but what do we think as a first name? Nickname will be Bea

It means ‘bringer of happiness’ which is lovely.

It was on my list for what turned out to be DS, I really like it and love names with a family connection. DD is named after my nanna and DS is named after my dad (Nanna and Dad both sadly deceased before children were conceived)

Great choice it would have been ds name.
I named one of mine after a grandparent it originally was going to be middle name but changed my mind when I saw him.
