Help!

I am 7months pregnant and having a nightmare choosing a name! Me and my partner have narrowed it down to three names...my partner love Delilah however I feel it's a little bit twee? We also like Dulcie and Arabella...just wanted to get peoples feelings on these as having a baby shower Sunday and meant to be announcing a name and I haven't got a clue!

Beware of announcing the name too soon- I was convinced my DD would be called a particular name, but when she arrived it just didn't work so she is called something completely different!

Delilah 100%. It's my all time favorite name that unfortunately I used for a since deceased pet.

Delilah seems like quite a punchy, fiery name to me which I like. Florence is very popular so I think that would put me off Flora as it is usually shortened to Flo (from personal experience) unsure about Dulcie, I want to like it but there is something that doesn't seem quite right…maybe it’s the ‘dull’ bit?

Also here to say do not announce the name at the baby shower. Keep your choices private (except for strangers you don't care about on MN) until after baby is born. Honestly, everyone will try to influence even just by pulling a funny face, in a way that they wouldn't dream of when baby is here. I read so many posts on a pregnancy forum I was on when I was pregnant with DS of people upset about feedback from family on announcing the baby name prior to birth.

Don't announce the name until she's here! You'll get people saying the hate the name you love.
