Ines-pronounced?

How would you pronounce Ines? Thanks.

The Scottish Innes I know is Inn-ess

The one I knew (German) said it like Guinnes but without the G sound obviously :)

(I would pronounce Eira as Eye-ra though)

I didn't know there was any alternative pronunciation - the person I know with this name (in her 70s, English) pronounces it Ee-nez with emphasis on the first syllable.
