It’s my second name choice after Gabriella.

Is it nice or too different/fussy?

I like it, but then we have a Lucille with NN lucy

ILoveShula · 27/06/2021 13:43

It's ok. Lucy is a better spelling. i'd just name her Lucy.

TatianaBis · 27/06/2021 14:06

Don't like it. Prefer Lucy.

JohnSteinbeck · 27/06/2021 14:07

Just call her Lucy!

TatianaBis · 27/06/2021 14:08

But prefer Gabriella overall.

ProcrastinationStation3 · 27/06/2021 14:10

I like it

I like it. Lucie is cute! And the girl in Beatrix Potter’s Mrs Tiggywinkle is called Lucie.

Chilldonaldchill · 27/06/2021 17:29

Gabriella is much nicer.
I know several teenage boys called Lucien so think of that - and that she would get mistaken for a boy.

daisypond · 27/06/2021 17:50

I think Gabriella is nicer. Not keen on Lucienne - it’s a bit weak and too feminine. Lucy is better - simpler and stronger. Lucie is an annoying spelling.

Ellmau · 27/06/2021 18:36

Very nice.

annacondom · 27/06/2021 18:38

Unusual but not weird. Nice. I also like Lucie.

VenusClapTrap · 27/06/2021 21:19

I love it. Dh has an aunt Lucienne and I’ve always thought what a lovely name. I wouldn’t shorten it to Lucy though. If you want to call her Lucy, just register her as Lucy and avoid all the “known as” faff.

FartnissEverbeans · 29/06/2021 20:39

I think it’s gorgeous
