Owen or Westin/Weston

Hi everyone!

We are torn on names and like both Owen and Westin for our baby boy. His last name will be Reed. Would like some opinions on which of the two names you guys prefer. Also open to any other names you guys think may sound good!

Apologies if someone has said it already but Westin/Weston sounds like a hotel chain.

Owen by far. Westin Reed sounds like a firm of Accountants.

Owen is fab. Westin is not great.

Weton = no. Reminds me of Weston Super Mare.

Owen is lovely and I think in a similar category to Evan and Dylan as Welsh names which don’t need significant Welsh heritage.

Westin is a chain of hotels.
Weston is a faded seaside resort with a muddy beach and a lot of Brummies.

Owen is great and is the anglicised version of Owain.

Weston Reed sounds like an Estate Agent’s.
Westin is awful, don’t do it!

How about Winston?

I prefer Owen to Westin/Weston but I'm not a fan of either.

I just tried to say Westin Reed out load and said Restin Weed instead . It's a bit of a tongue twister.

How about Ioan or Wilson?
