MR - initials for baby girl…

I’m not sure if I’m having a boy or girl. For girls names I have a few I like that start with M but surname starts with R. Will a girl with MR initials get bullied for being a ‘man’. Not sure if I’m thinking too much into it, but gotta be careful right!?

I didn't even get why MR would be a potential issue when I just saw the thread title Grin
I don't think so, I'd say it's fine.

You are over thinking this.

LoopTheLoops · 14/06/2021 16:34

Literally no one will care about this 🤦‍♀️

DotDotDotDotDot · 14/06/2021 16:36

I think it’s fine to be honest. Will she have a middle name/initial?

UCOinSteveArnottsPants · 14/06/2021 16:36

My initials are PC Surname. I hate it.

DHs name (at work) is 'professional title' DR 'surname'. He does get asked what his doctorate is in.. or indeed, why a doctor is doing his completely unmedical job.

But as a child, I don't think anyone noticed!

HasaDigaEebowai · 14/06/2021 16:53

Completely overthinking

R1cciteddy · 14/06/2021 16:55

Hurrah good to know I’m overthinking 😊 thanks

Over thinking, if still concerned add a middle name or two to make an interest word.

FWIW, kids can create Nicknames out of the most random combo of letters

TooTiredForToday · 14/06/2021 17:05

My son's initials spell ASS and I didn't realise until he was 4 months old Grin I'm hoping he'll learn to ride it out

R1cciteddy · 14/06/2021 17:12

Or they might think he’s Bad Ass Wink

Ass is definitely a problem I would have to change it 😂
