We're due a baby girl over the summer and we're really struggling with names. We both like Eloise, but I dislike the name Louise - is it too similar? Hoping to shorten to Ellie.

Our surname begins with N, and wanting to honour a family member with Naomi for middle name. So what do you think of Eloise Naomi N?

I like it.
Not a fan of Louise either but really Eloise has a different vibe so I'd not worry.
Naomi is lovely and a bit different too.
Only thing I don't like is the nickname. Too common popular.

No, it has a very different vibe somehow to Louise. My fave of the "El" names is classic Eleanor or international Elena, but Eloise is nice enough. I also think it's lovely to honour a family member or friend with the middle name (so Naomi would be a nice choice).

Eloise is really lovely, different feel to Louise. I don’t like Ellie/Ella at all though, very dull. Lulu would be a cute nickname. Good luck.
