I can't be of much help as you appear to like cutesy names and I prefer strong or classic ones.

Of your list, Beatrice, Delilah and Freya are fine although not to my taste.

The rest are a big no for me. You're naming a baby who'll grow into a woman who might not thank you for being given a 'girly' cutesy name.

PassGo · 17/05/2021 06:19

I like Lily with the y spelling, Gracie as nickname for Grace, and Maisie.

You are naming a person who will only be a cutesy teeny weeny ickle baby girlie for a couple of years and will be an adult for about 70.

Dolly.

Alonelonelylonersbadidea · 17/05/2021 18:40

I'm with @KirstenBlest on this.
I always asked myself 'would you take a high court judge or politician called this seriously with that name?' If not, it's a hard pass.

Girls should be taken seriously. And yes a research scientist or astronaut can be called Daisy but in studies, you make a girl's ambitions more achievable by making them more believable.

Selkie1961 · 17/05/2021 18:42

Girlie pretty names are over
I like beatrice and heidi from yr list. They sound strong.

PassGo · 17/05/2021 20:29

What do you think OP?

Ellmau · 17/05/2021 20:59

Rosanna
Amaryllis

Terrazzo · 17/05/2021 21:11

Sidonie
Zara
Jessica
Violet
Keira

All strike me as very pretty :)

lavenderandwisteria · 17/05/2021 21:14

One of my school friends is called Daisy and she studied law at Cambridge!

Sadie is hardly a cutesy name, anyway. I also have a school friend called Sadie who is a primary headteacher.

I like Sadie and Beatrice on that list. Bella is pretty but I prefer as an abbreviation from Isabella or arabella.

I like posy but prefer with a Y.

DeadButDelicious · 17/05/2021 21:28

Sadie is a lovely name.

MargosKaftan · 17/05/2021 21:47

You can have pretty and strong names, generally avoiding cute.

Arabella
Christina
Sabrina
Persephone
Genevieve (known as Ginny or Evie)
Penelope (Penny)
Eva
Eloise
Julianna
Francesca

But I do like Beatrice from your list. (Bea is cute for a little girl)

MargosKaftan · 17/05/2021 21:49

Oh and the two Tillys I know are both Matilda.

Also know a Dorothea known as Dolly and an Eleanor and an Eloise who are both known as Ellie.

MercyBodle · 18/05/2021 01:47

From your list I like
Mollie (though prefer Molly)
Beatrice
Tillie (prefer Tilly)
Maisie
I also really like Gracie, Florie and Posie (though prefer Posy) but only as nicknames.

VenusClapTrap · 18/05/2021 14:40

I like Freya.

ThatIsMyPotato · 18/05/2021 14:44

Beatrice is nice and can be shortened to Bea
Delilah -ok can be shortened to Dee

I'd be careful as some of those names are very "cute" and "girly" to me and you don't want your child to hate their own name.

ThatIsMyPotato · 18/05/2021 14:44

Oh and Freya is ok

Nualay · 18/05/2021 14:50

I would suggest some different spellings to make the names more 'proper'

Lillie is spelled Lily
Mollie is spelled Molly
Tillie is spelled Tilly
Aubrie is spelled Aubrey and a boy's name
Avie seems odd to me like that - why not Ava
Same with Florie - Florence?

Of your names I like Lottie best! Don't know why but I can only imagine great people by the name Lottie.

MargosKaftan · 18/05/2021 18:27

Lottie is a traditional nickname for Charlotte. Every Lottie i have ever met is actually called Charlotte. It would make life harder for her if she has a name that everyone thinks isn't her real name. Better to name her Charlotte (which is a pretty, girly name!) and use Lottie as a family nickname, giving her the less cute option when an adult.

CharlieBoo · 19/05/2021 20:33

Here we go with the you can’t be a high court judge with a girly/cutesy name! 🙄

dottiedaisee · 20/05/2021 00:04

Esme
Olive
Annie
Absolutely love these names .
