This is our shortlist, so like them all but not sure we're brave enough for a couple of them! What do you think?

Caleb
Ezra
Vincent
Leonardo
Dante
Cassian

Like Leonardo and Dante and Cassian.

How are you pronouncing Cassian as it’s various pronunciations.

NuffSaidSam · 02/05/2021 19:05

I think Dante is a bit much. Not keen on Cassian either.

The others are all fine. I like Caleb best.

HectorHalloumi · 02/05/2021 19:05

I think Cassian is the best out of those.

Anibas · 02/05/2021 19:06

Thank you.
Cass-ee-uhn. A bit like Cassius but with an N rather than an S.

@NuffSaidSam yes, that's the one I'm most worried about! I think I will veto it even though hubby really likes it

Leonardo or Caleb

TatianaBis · 02/05/2021 19:14

Cassian is my favourite whether Cass ee un or Cashun.

PiccalilliChilli · 02/05/2021 19:23

Caleb or Ezra.

helpmum2003 · 02/05/2021 19:31

Caleb or Ezra are my favourites.

Dante and Leonardo are a bit much, especially if you're not Italian.

Cassian is OK. I'm personally not keen on Vincent and don't like nn Vinnie, it sounds rough. (Sorry)

Good luck.

@helpmum2003

Thank you. I think I agree with you on Dante. I do like Leonardo though, and we'd probably shorten it to Leo most of the time. Interesting about the Italian thing. My husband and I are of mostly South Asian descent but don't really like a lot of South Asian names. My name is of German origin, my sister's is of Russian origin and most names are of different origin. There's not many originally British names that we are that keen on tbh
