Pronounced like Liam - but Lian???

Just saw it it in a list while I was browsing and I think I like it. Worried it will be mistaken for "Leanne"

What do you think?

I used to know a female Lian, pronounced Leanne.

I’d go with Leon. I think it’s a lovely, and underused name.

I think it's nice, but I'd pronounce Lian and Leanne very differently and know a lovely Dian which is pronounced similarly -- though does deal with the mispronouncing, mispellings, and mixing it up with other names that pp talked about.

I do agree some of the other suggestions will likely be easier - Cillian and Ian are nice, and I like Leal. Elian is also possibility that I like, though not sure I'd use it with how popular Eli- names are for girls at the moment.
