Not as a full name for me - too cutesy. Fine as a sweet nn for Beatrice/Beatrix or yes, even Patricia (although that's dated now, it's still better than Trixie imo).

Put Beatrix on her BC and call her Trixie day to day. That was she has a formal name she can go by when and if she decides to. Best of both worlds.

For all those saying it's a dogs name I know people with dogs called Dave, molly,Milly, Lucy, olive, Ollie, Luna, Alfie, Archie, Bailey, max, Rory, frankie and Jasper

Not as a full name. I have a daughter called Beatrix and I hate when people call her this, especially as we already have a nickname for her - given to her by my elder child who could not pronounce Beatrix when she was first born. People think we are mispronouncing it and call her Trixie
