Anyone else have a really differing style with girl’s names...?

I don’t mean with partner, I mean in general.

Three of my all time favourite girls names are

Ophelia
Florence
Penelope

But I can also imagine having kids named

Cadence
Bailey
Lola
Delilah

And then also like obscure names like

Lumen
Skyler
Sailor
Payton

And wouldn’t discount

Lucy
Maude
Isobel
Siena
Ava
Isla

But really don’t like

Catherine
Elizabeth
Victoria
Camilla
Cordelia
Cecilia
Felicity
Nancy

But could get on board with

Dahlia
Claire
Emma
Madeleine

What is my naming style?!

(Just for fun) Grin

@Changedname81 haha I know what you mean! We have a list of 32 names!!! All totally totally different!!!

Our favourite two unfortunately we do not agree on whatsoever!

My husband is obsessed with Pepper, he adores it! And I really want juniper, and he doesn't like it!!!

But we also have names like Eleanor on our list

My girls names are all fairly of a type, but boys names vary much more. Eg I like Geoffrey, Heath, Aslan, Sky, Grant, Sirius, Vangelis, Darrell, David, Jocelyn, Benjamin. Can't see much of a trend there.

Yes I love Alice, Emma, Sarah, Eleanor, Lucy, Louisa, Jane etc but I also feel drawn to Ruby, Emerald, Celeste etc

I have a very definite type. All 3 of my dcs (and the one we lost) have bible related names despite us not being at all religious.

Feel you. My list, put nicely, is ‘eclectic’ to say the least.
