Gemma Brooke. Gemma Skye would also be nice. Gemma Aurora doesn’t flow as well because of the repeated a sounds.

KirstenBlest · 09/04/2021 19:48

It will be Gemma Raurora.

I can't get that song out of my mind now.

elliemara · 09/04/2021 19:52

Isn't Rylie spelled Riley? I think Gemma Riley sounds nice.

NannyR · 09/04/2021 19:53

I like Gemma a lot, it's not that commonly used these days but it's a well known name, both pretty and strong. I'd go for Gemma Brooke or Gemma Skye.

user1493494961 · 09/04/2021 19:54

Gemma is quite pretty and Gemma Skye goes well. I don't like any of the other names, they're all a bit downmarket.

Wednesdayalltheway · 09/04/2021 19:56

Brooklyn Skye is nice, flows well. Shea just makes me think of the oil in cosmetics.

Twinkie01 · 09/04/2021 19:57

Gemma is perhaps the only nice name out of all of them, although it's very much of its time. Mid 80s.

YoniAndGuy · 09/04/2021 20:54

Gemma is lovely. And I’ve only ever known nice ones!

I really think it jars with the American mod vibe of Brooke, Skye etc though- they date the whole name quite horribly. I think you need something a bit more traditional but also unusual. And more than one syllable.

Gemma Sabrina
Gemma Josephine
Gemma Verity

Saltyslug · 09/04/2021 22:46

Jemma

LouLikesLollies · 09/04/2021 23:22

Much prefer the spelling Jemma. Lovely name

Ikeameatballs · 09/04/2021 23:33

I like Gemma as a sound but much, much prefer the spelling Jemma.

Jemma Rose
Jemma Jane
Jemma Rae
Jemma Belle
Jemma Lucy
Jemma Celeste
Jemma Carina
Jemma Aurelia
Jemma Clare

Smallonesaremorejuicy · 09/04/2021 23:52

No , Gemma is awful, I always think the classic Emma is far nicer. Brooke isn’t too bad . Shea is nice . Aurora awful again .

DeedledeDee · 09/04/2021 23:59

Lara
Isla
Fern
Cara
Iona

Alleyplus2 · 10/04/2021 03:10

Emma is very common and ordinary. Not my thing. Ya I no longer like Shea or Aurora. Brooke and Gemma are still top my list

Gemma Brooke is good.
Lyra Brooke is brilliant, though, it has a lovely ring to it.

FrozenVag · 10/04/2021 03:24

Bin them all op and call her Beatrix

Rainbowqueeen · 10/04/2021 03:26

Gemma Brooke is a great name

Also like Gemma Skye

Stichintime · 10/04/2021 03:30

Gemma Faye

Alleyplus2 · 10/04/2021 03:43

I quite like
Lyra Brooke ... but I already have a daughter named Isla.. too similar??

CrazyHorse · 10/04/2021 08:28

I always think it's odd to name children after places you haven't been to
(What if you go there later and hate it?)to that would influence me.

I went to school with a Jemma in the 80s so would go with Jemma Brooke for a really 80s vibe.

TatianaBis · 10/04/2021 14:30

Gemma is fine. All the others are very Essex.

caramellia · 11/04/2021 03:39

Lyra and Isla. Nice names but a bit of a mouthful as siblings

Ijustlikedthename · 11/04/2021 10:58

Gemma Brooke. Lyra is too close in sound to Isla

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 11/04/2021 14:24

Brooke Sariah is nice (Sariah will get misspelt as Sarah but that doesn't really matter as a middle name). Gemma Brooke is also pleasant, although some people will find Gemma quite 80's. Lyra is lovely, but quite popular/"of the moment" (so not sure how well it will age).

The others aren't my taste- too downmarket/trendy/celeb sounding to me, sorry .
