A little sibling for Violet and Cassie...

Hi everyone, I'm pregnant with our third baby and we find out the sex in less than two weeks! Really excited but we're struggling to come up with names we both like (specifically girls names)

The only one we both agree on at the moment is Luna - a bit overused lately but very pretty and I feel it goes well with our other daughters Violet and Cassie. For a boy I think we're agreed on Asher for now though I'm happy to keep looking!

Does anyone have any other suggestions please? Surname is quite simple and one syllable if that helps.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Violet and Cassie are lovely names. If you want some alternatives to Luna, how about Stella, Martha, Marion, Ray (bit out there but very cool for a girl), Greta, Erica.

I like Asher for a boy a lot. I also like Seth, Lev, Nathaniel, Jake.

Eliza, Eloise or Iris for a girl.

Sebastian, Jacob or Robin for a boy.

I don’t have many boys names but I think Elliot and River go well with Violet and Cassie.

A agree with pp Stella would be lovely (similar vibes to Luna but less trendy/popular). Otherwise I'd probably keep with names that have a different ending sound to your other daughters, so maybe - Lara, Erin, Imogen, Gwen, Nell, Faye, Esme, Eden, Alice, May, Beatrice, Isobel, Louisa, Ada, Freda, Cora.

Similar to Asher might be Caleb, Jonas/Jonah, Ezra, Asa, Jared, Elias (or Eli), Micah.

Out of the suggested I particularly like Stella, Belle, Nancy, Freya, Serene, Faye and Delilah for girls.

Robin (one of my favourites for a while, DH isn't keen though sadly!), Elliot, Jonah and Micah for boys.

Luna is nice, but when I was googling pet names it came up as one of the top puppy names.

I think as PP suggested Elodie sounds nice

Really pleased that there's a lot of positive things said about the name Asher, it's been my favourite for a boy since I found out about this pregnancy.

DH wasn't too keen at first (he thought I'd made it up?!) but he said yesterday that he's really warmed to it and likes it now. So if this new little one turns out to be a boy then it looks like his name will be Asher! ❤️
