Magnus is lovely, kinda Scandi cool - has gravitas but he can be Max or Gus if he wants something lighter.

Louis is okay (more middle of the road - neither love nor hate).

Hugo is too trendy for me (also I struggle a bit to get past the old posh boy stereotype), but I love similar classic Hugh for some reason.

I absolutely love Magnus.

Magnus much the nicest.

It's so funny, when we named our DS Magnus I told DH that it was a bit of a marmite name (he loved it more than me at the time) and it seems I was right!

Louis is definitely the nicest. Hugo is ok I guess but I prefer Huw/Hugh. Magnus is way too OTT. And Maggie for short?!

Personally not so keen on Louis but that’s just because it is extremely popular where I live. I know of 8 under 5. It’s still a great name though, popular for a reason I suppose.
I would choose Magnus.

@Mamajules43 It just seems very pretentious to be honest! And self-important/arrogant. Unless they were actually Scandinavian I imagine a Magnus to be a bit of a jerk and even then it sounds like the name of a Scandinavian villain
