Jasper Timothy
or
Felix Timothy?

(I know some people think Jasper and Felix are pets names, but we don't!)

Thanks :)

ClaraBean · 30/03/2021 09:10

I used to know twins called Jasper and Felix! They would be teens now.
I much prefer Jasper!

Bamaluz · 30/03/2021 09:11

Jasper, but I like Timorhy as a first name too.
Not Felix, purely because of the cat food association.

MerryChristmasToYou · 30/03/2021 09:41

Jasper

Violetlavenders · 30/03/2021 09:44

Timothy is lovely too. Otherwise I prefer Jasper.

Purplecatshopaholic · 30/03/2021 09:45

I love both. Would probably go with Jasper ‘cos of cat food connotations in the UK with Felix

babynamelover · 30/03/2021 10:15

Jasper by a mile. Prefer Caspar though.

AnyaMoondial · 30/03/2021 10:16

Felix!

Hazel444 · 30/03/2021 10:37

Thanks for your thoughts everyone! We wouldn't use Timothy as a first name, it feels slightly too old fashioned to me (but not old fashioned enough to be 'cool' again) but it was my lovely and much missed Dad's name so it's the perfect middle name for us :)

I prefer Caspar too but it would be misspelt as Casper.

17caterpillars1mouse · 30/03/2021 13:54

I much prefer Jasper. Love Timothy BTW too

luckymagnoliatree · 30/03/2021 14:05

I like both but love Jasper, slightly biased as it's ds' name! We get lots of compliments on it, it's not too unusual that people haven't heard the name before, although do get compliments that it's unusual (guess it just depends on your views!) but equally it doesn't seem really popular (not where we are anyway), I haven't met any others yet.

I met one little boy called Felix on holiday once as a child, and it was unusual choice of name then! I remember thinking he had such a cool name! Couldn't get it past dh though. I know of one other person that named their little boy Felix about a year ago.
