What can max be short for?

Would like some ideas

We have a Maximilian, always referred to as Max.

Love Max but wanted him to have the longer version as we have a Ben(jamin) and Seb(astian). I prefer boys to have the full name IMO

Another person who has Max - just Max. We didn't like any of the longer versions.
