Oliver or Toby?

Which do you prefer?

I know Oliver is popular but I don’t mind that.
Toby would be Tobias on the BC and Toby day-to-day.

Definitely Tobias then. You can’t have Oscar and Oliver!

You'd have to really like your family name to go with Oliver as he'll always be known by his first and last name.

I'd go with Toby, every one I've ever known has been lovely.

Toby, it's a great name and was on my shortlist for DS.

You always get at least one person saying the name is "weak" or "wet" - no idea why as I don't think it is at all. God forbid a boy should have a softer-sounding name

I've got a Toby, he's definitely not 'a bit wet'

Both are good strong names. Slight preference for Tobias.
