Igraine - Mother of Arthur in Arthurian legend

Freya - Norse goddess of love and fertility.

Hera - Queen of the Greek gods - goddess of marriage, women, women's fertility and childbirth.

We once heard of a woman who had been given the name 'Baby' (obviously when she was a baby). It's a perfect Ronseal name for a newborn, but not really the most enduring throughout their entire life....

Yes, Tia is Aunty in Portuguese (and maybe also Spanish, not sure).

@Brown76 I love the meanings behind some of the Yoruba names. My friend’s husband is Babatunde for his grandfather, who died suddenly just before he was born. Also Adetokunbo for a child who was born overseas.
