Struggling for baby boy names - any suggestions?

Hi ladies

So we really struggled to choose a name for DS1, and now we are totally stuck for DS2 who is due in a few months. I absolutely love the name Dexter and was set on this but my aunty has just told me she's getting a new puppy and calling it Dexter so feel weird about this now. I've been through so many lists and just not finding anything that jumps out at me.

DS1 is Finley and DD is Erin. Surname starts with M. I'd love some suggestions please 😊

I would just stick with Dexter dogs always get human names now days

I think the name Dexter is really nice and I think the nickname Dex is cool it's on our shortlist

Thanks ladies - some lovely ideas there - interesting that Dylan, Brodie, Rory, Zachary and Euan have come up a few times as those are all on my list of possibles. Thanks for the support with Dexter too - I'm glad it's not just me that loves this! Puppy will be here before baby but maybe I'll just have to say tough luck to my aunt!

It’s so hard! I’m having the same problem trying to name my first child (a boy). I have had so many boy pets over the years I think I’ve used up all the nice names 😭 I love Rex, it’s a maybe for us. Possibly Jenson but we’re in Scotland and have a Scottish girls name picked so would prefer a boys name to be Scottish too. Blair and Harris are lovely

Maybe... Kester, Jesse, Cormac, Ronan, Struan, Jethro, Rafferty, Issac, Reuben, Joseph, Max, Dylan, Aaron, Nathan, Jerome... going for Scottish/Irish/Biblical for some reason!
