@ZoyaTheDestroyer No, that’s just a coincidence. Tristan comes from proto-Celtic and has nothing to do with French sadness

I have read the French explanation in various places but I’m very happy to see your link - thank you! I did wonder why people would choose it, if it came from the French.

I also know a man called Kestrel and whilst not Arthurian, it's a pretty cool name. I loved Constanin for another boy but we had a girl.
