Hi
Can you help? Struggling with names. I want to get that feeling that it’s right as being on my own, so indecisive and anxious at the moment it’s hard to know and decipher my feelings. I also find the next day I don’t have the same feelings about the name too so I’m back at square one and it’s been like this for months now I’m not moving on. I don’t have any strong male role models to use either to give heart behind the name choice.

I think Louis is lovely, as are William, Christopher and James.

I must admit I like alliterative names so I'd be tempted by William (Billy) or Benjamin (Ben) - as long as your surname isn't Bunter or Button.

Would it help to hear some associations that people have with names, as you say you have no positive male role models?
These are men i know very very well with names similar to your list.

James- such a kind man. Very clever, went to uni and did really well, married young and is a fantastic dad to children. Good job etc

William...i know 2. One is a little biy- absolutely gorgeous, really sweet and well behaved . Very popular with plenty of friends. The other is a man... very, very funny, loves his wife and family, works hard but enjoys a good time too. The kind of man you can depend on.

Does this kind of thing help? I could go on!

I also thought you wanted to call him Bay and came here to dissuade you, so your lovely boy's list is a relief They're all lovely, but I prefer the Louis spelling. William is my least favourite but the others are pretty much equal. Maybe Louis and Benjamin just edging into number 1!
