Is Cedric like "Said Rick" "Cedarish" or "Ketrick"? Or "Chedrich"?

This is the Evergreen Forest. Quiet, peaceful, serene. That is, until Bert Raccoon wakes up!

:) :)

I've met a lot of young blokes called Cedric ( and Edgar) when I've been to Eastern Europe.
Id previously thought of those names as being quite 'posh' but they were great on trendy, handsome men.

I think you need to go with another less common but historical name to fit with Cedric so (sorry for repeats) - Ivor, Bertram, Edmund/ Edgar, Lysander, Lucian/Lucius, Magnus, Inigo, Auberon, August/Augustus.

I love Cedric- wanted it for my second child but our first goes by Ed and didn't think we could have Ed and Ced! (Plus we had a girl). Other names on our list were Alaric and Wilbur.

I was reading the name Cedric was invented by Sir Walter Scott for name of the father of Ivanhoe.

I was thinking of names in other Scott novels might be a good match.

Perhaps Ivan, Magnus or Oliver.

Has anyone said Forrest yet?
