Miles/Myles/Milo

Liked Miles for years and its now high on our boys name list so doing some proper thinking.

Its 147th and reasonably stable, but have seen it mentioned a lot on here as a suggestion. Prehaps because I'm paying attention now!?

But I also keep seeing Myles, which is rising more quickly and is more used at 123rd. To me it feels a bit "unique spelling" which isn't my thing, I suppose I don't want it to keep growing and become faddy.

The 2 spellings combined would be ranked 70th which suddenly feels high!

Then there's Milo at 108th too, which is obviously different but again feels more trendy.

Basically overall do people think it could spike and become quite dated? Or there be confusion over spellings. Or am I overthinking....

I would assume it was spelt Miles. I don't associate it with Milo, which has a very different feel. Miles feels timeless, not trendy and not little-boyish.

I don't know any Miles (or Myles). I prefer it to Milo as that sounds like a dog's name to me.
I would go with the Miles spelling, less likely for people to mix spell his name then.
