I'm expecting my second boy and set on calling him Archie. But struggling to decide on a middle name.

Yes surname begins with D and is 2 syllables

I really don’t like most of those. Frederick is the best.

Archie Frederick sounds by far the best to me. Because Archie is quite a popular/trendy name, I'd give him a classic middle name with it. Maybe:

Archie Roman makes me think of a Roman arch.
