claire87w · 11/01/2021 19:18

I'm expecting my second boy and set on calling him Archie. But struggling to decide on a middle name.

Me and the other half have come up with a few suggestions...

Frederick
Leighton
Blake
Roman
Jenson
Noah
Carter
Hudson
Hunter
Ethan
Austin

Which are your faves or any other suggestions?

Many thanks! Smile

Austin or Blake by a mile

Are you willing to say what your surname starts with and how many syllables it's got?

claire87w · 11/01/2021 19:24

Yes surname begins with D and is 2 syllables

I really don’t like most of those. Frederick is the best.

IckleBear · 11/01/2021 19:41

Archie Logan
Archie Daniel
Archie Tanner
Archie Lloyd

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 11/01/2021 19:45

Archie Blake.

Archie Louis pn Loo-is rather than Loo-ee

Archie Frederick sounds by far the best to me. Because Archie is quite a popular/trendy name, I'd give him a classic middle name with it. Maybe:
Archie William
Archie Thomas
Archie Olivier
Archie James

Fandangoes · 11/01/2021 20:03

Archie David

I think Archie Frederick sounds great! Look no further Grin.

I personally love the name Archie. Good choice!

Firebird83 · 11/01/2021 21:26

Archie Frederick, definitely.

Happenchance · 11/01/2021 21:39

From your list I like Leighton and Hudson. They are both names that I wouldn't use as a first name but would for a middle name.

Archie Roman makes me think of a Roman arch.

Other suggestions:
Sullivan
Morgan
Baldrick Grin

My fave out of those is Noah. But his initials would be AND.

Chilldonaldchill · 11/01/2021 22:12

Archie Frederick.
I also like:
Archie Daniel
Archie Samuel
Archie Benjamin

MercyBodle · 12/01/2021 04:32

Archie Frederick is the standout from your list - I love it! I'm not keen on any of the others.

Februaryisnear · 12/01/2021 06:51

I do not get this ‘Archie is a trendy name’ where I am from Archie is a classic that is having a revival!

From your list I like Archie Frederick.

Love Archie William / Archie James / Archie George

I love Archie FWIW one of my favourite classic names

emmathedilemma · 12/01/2021 09:44

I only like Noah or Frederick of those. I don't think the others are in the same genre as Archie.
