Vaila?

Heard the name Vaila recently and I really like it.

What do you think?

Middle name would be Violet as it’s a family name, but is Vaila Violet a bit of a mouthful? Surname is a 2 syllable girls name beginning with P. OH loves Grace so could be Vaila Grace instead.

It says the island Vaila is named after a man called Vali.

We called our daughter Vaila, I think it’s a beautiful name. People definitely second glance you when you tell them, we’ve had a lot of Layla, Veila, Viola etc.
What did you go for with the middle names? Go with what you want!

Love Vaila. I was born in Shetland and it’s always been top of my girls lift! Did you go for it?

Can I ask where you live? I love the name but we live in London now and I’m worried it would be a name that people would struggle with.

We're in Scotland and our old dentist was called Vaila it's pretty but I agree with the others Vaila Violet is a bit much.
