This will be a sister for Alexander and Felicity. One syllable surname.

Here is our list in no particular order:
Naomi
Chloe
Eliza
Imogen
Carina
Florence

Thoughts on these? Any others we should consider?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
QuantumJump · 23/12/2020 15:37

My favourites are Chloe and Carina - gorgeous.

TiredMary · 23/12/2020 15:44

My favourites are Eliza, Carina and Imogen. Imogen probably my slight favourite. They go really beautifully with your children’s names, which I love btw!

partyatthepalace · 23/12/2020 15:53

I like Imogen, think that goes best w your other kids.

Like Eliza but as a nn for Elizabeth.

Not wild about the rest, but all perfectly nice.

notalwaysalondoner · 23/12/2020 16:40

I love Felicity!

Naomi - fine, quite classic and a bit unusual these days
Chloe - not a huge fan, was number one for ages about 15 years ago
Eliza - lovely, although I’d be inclined to go for Elizabeth with Eliza as day to day name
Imogen - my favourite, very classy
Carina - unusual but I like it
Florence - classic and classy

If you like Felicity, Imogen and Florence you might like Verity, Miranda, Ottilie, Eleanor, Beatrice, Eloise...?

lovablequalities · 23/12/2020 16:42

Not as fond of Chloe but the others are lovely. I like the spelling Corina rather than Carina but either way is nice.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 23/12/2020 16:43

Naomi- my fav, love
Chloe - solid classic
Eliza- hate
Imogen - very popular
Carina- never heard this before so doesn’t resonate with me
Florence- love but too popular for me to have used

CinnamonTeaForMe · 23/12/2020 16:46

Chloe and Carina are beautiful - love both of these
Eliza and Florence- both nice, solid choices.
Don't really like Imogen or Naomi.

frogswimming · 23/12/2020 16:48

I like all your choices! Lovely names!!

AdaColeman · 23/12/2020 16:50

Imogen is my favourite from your list, a beautiful name that goes well with your other family names.

I'd prefer Corinna to Carina, as I think has a warmer more rounded sound.

Eliza and Naomi are my least favourite by a long way.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 23/12/2020 16:58

Although I don't personally like the name I think Imogen would fit perfectly.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 23/12/2020 17:00

Other names to consider.

Alexander Felicity and
Matilda.
Eleanor
Scarlett
Penelope
Juliet
Victoria

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 23/12/2020 17:01

Madeline
Claudia
Evangeline.

Whatsyourflava · 23/12/2020 18:29

My favourites are Imogen chloe and Florence
Least favourite Naomi, just don't like the sound of it

@OnlyFoolsnMothers yes it did used to be fairly popular but the name Imogen is not even close to how popular it used to be. It's on a huge downward slope, numbers have been declining each and every year since 2010 and it is about to leave the top 50. A brilliant time to pick this name, it's really underused these days compared to a name like Eliza that has risen hundreds of places to enter the top 50 and still rising

PlantPotting · 23/12/2020 18:51

Naomi 3/10
Chloe 8/10
Eliza 8/10
Imogen 10/10
Carina 0/10
Florence 8/10

I like Eliza best. I dislike Naomi and Carina. Not keen on Imogen, Chloe is nice but feel a bit dated, Florence is ok but is quite popular at the moment.

LadyLazaruss · 23/12/2020 19:10

Eliza and Florence. Don't like the others at all.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 23/12/2020 21:07

Imogen and Florence are lovely and go nicely with Alexander and Felicity (I'd chose Imogen myself to avoid two F names). The others aren't my taste (I tend to like more classic names like Katharine nn Karina or Elizabeth nn Eliza and find Chloe and Naomi a bit dated).

You might also like the sound of Tamsin or Celia/Cecelia or Claudia.

Thewolvesarerunningagain · 23/12/2020 21:33

Imogen has a lot of great nicknames (Imo, Idgie, Jeannie, Jen) where the others are more all or nothing (Chloe for example) Florence feels more of a little girl name than the others (though it’s lovely) but as a pp has said doesn’t go well with Felicity. For some reason I think Carina jars a bit with your other children’s names. Both Imogen and Naomi go well as does Eliza.

InMulieribus · 23/12/2020 21:35

Florence. I think it goes very well with Felicity.

If I were using Carina, I'd spell it Ciarina, but then I'd look like a twat as I'm not Italian.

YoniAndGuy · 24/12/2020 09:08

Toyota Carina.

Of your list, Imogen goes best, much prefer Florence as a name but not sure about the two F sounds - but if you like it then go for that as Flo is lovely!

Agree that Verity would be perfect

emmathedilemma · 24/12/2020 09:57

Eliza
I like Florence as well but. Think Felicity and Florence is a bit of a mouthful.

Littlemilkjug · 24/12/2020 10:02

Imogen is lovely. In fact, all your names are lovely :)

I think Carina (or Corina), whilst lovely, I'd avoid in the time of Corona, as it's just a little too..."born in the year of Corona" in my mind (!). Carinavirus etc...

But all your choices are great - I think Imogen goes best with your older kids, and is vastly underused these days, given how lovely the name is :)

Candycane2020 · 24/12/2020 10:37

Thanks for your replies! I’m adding Claudia to the list and taking off Carina.

Imogen seems to be a front runner on here. We still like Eliza a lot too but take the points about it really just being a nickname for Elizabeth (which we are less keen on as a name!).
