A Name like Robyn...

I love the name Robyn but my husband hates it. For a girls name I love Robyn Eloise. I can seem to come up with a name that flows as well. Can anyone suggest a good replacement for Robyn? Help me please!

Piper popped in to my head although I don't like that as much.
Kind of has the same peppy energy though.
What about Romy ?

Other soundalike options like Robyn would be Rowan or Wren/Ren as mentioned, or perhaps Erin, Eden, Evelyn, Imogen, Caitlin/Catrin, Lauren, Kristen/Kirsten, Bethan, Megan.

My first is called Robin. It was always going to be Robyn/in no matter what sex he would have been born. Hubby wasn't too keen but it's grown on him.

My second born in lock down was a little girl who I have called Wren.

Roberta? - Bright and shining with fame.

florascotia2 · 23/12/2020 17:17

Roberta or Rosalind as suggested by previous posters. Both really good names.
Also perhaps Rowena (pron. Rowenna) or Roswitha or Rosmerta.

Don't worry about 'flow'; just use what you like or which has meaning for you. Naming is not something that has to look good to outsiders. . No-one in everyday life uses or cares about middle names.

This is just me, but I don't get the love for Robin/Robyn. We have five robins our garden and they fight for food at the bird table, though there is plenty. Agggressive little so and sos...
