I need help picking a baby girl name! I loved the name Gabrielle but I hate the nickname gabby! I have some others that are potentials and was hoping you could help me pick!

I really like Cecelia. I also really like Gabrielle, and I think if you encouraged a different nickname then you might not get her called Gabby (My DD is good friends with a Gabrielle who goes by Bri)

Mirabelle is pretty and would probably be my second choice.

I’m not keen on Rosabella, I love Rosa on its own though or Rosalind.

I’m not sure about Vanessa. I don’t think I know any Vanessa’s under 50.

How about Miranda? That seems to have a similar vibe to the names you like

Cecelia is by far my favourite from your list. So elegant. It’s got a tiny touch of haughtiness to it, which I like. I imagine Cecelia as a very beautiful and intelligent woman.

I have to warn you that if you choose that spelling of Cecelia no one will ever notice and she will be Cecilia most of the time. (Voice of experience). Beautiful name though!
