Eglantine?

Girls - Ernestine - don't love it but only one I would consider on your list.

Boys - Balthazar - love this name

I might use Flossie but quite honestly dislike or even hate the others.

Raerae7 · 03/01/2021 15:07

Balthazar is my least favourite. It reminds me of the scene in Brooklyn 99 where Captain Holt has a goiter (swelling/lump on the neck) as a result of having the Mumps and he names the goiter Balthazar

Ernestine and Lysander

Dont like any of them. Sorry

Minnie - a bit twee for me
Esmerelda - lovely but probably wouldn’t use it, still reminds me of Hunchback of Notre Dame
Millicent - hate it, Millie is fine
Flossie - would use Florence with this as nn
Tansy - pretty
Pansy - no, derogatory term
Ernestine - no, too much like Ernest

Decimus - not unless I’d had nine previous children
Philbert - ugh
Dorkin - no
Rufus - one of my favourites
Jerome - quite like it
Phoenix - too try hard
Balthazar - it’s ok
Lysander - don’t like the character, he’s wet

I like Phoenix and Esmerelda
