We are very torn between Felicity and Esme for our baby girl due in the new year.
Any opinion? :)
Our surname is short (one syllable).

Felicity. Esme sounds like a sneeze.

Felicity.Love it!

@CatteStreet

Felicity is much nicer. And (AFAIK) it doesn't mean 'happy' so much as 'good fortune', which I think it a lovely name to give to a baby :)
No it literally means happiness. Including pretty much being the word in Italian, and French.

Esme sounds like a sneeze.

😂

Felicity is a much prettier sounding name and would be great with a short surname. Esme is much more popular now.

I have a 11yr old Felicity-never met another one! She calls herself Fliss.
