What are your thoughts as to which is better?

Love Phoebe

Sophia, by quite a long way.

Sophia (and Sophie too) is a lovely sounding classic name, it's just very popular for that reason! Phoebe has a strong double "ee" sound in it that is unappealing to me.

Sophia. Phoebe is too much like feeble.

Phoebe. I have one and we get lots of compliments about the choice.

Love it, uncommon and a bit different but not too out there.

I prefer Sophie. Sophia is nice but a bit overused.
I like Phoebe.

Sophia seems to be very very popular around here , but I have met quite a few girls called Phoebe as well. I like both but would choose Sophia because I think it's easier to spell.
