Elara or Ellara

After spending months searching for the perfect baby name, I came across the name Elara and have fallen in love.

I know it's meant to be spelt Elara, but for some reason I think I prefer it with two L's

Just wondering what other people think?

Thanks in advance!

I think I prefer Elara, but both are fine. My dd is Lara, and I think Elara is pretty too.

There are some really rude, unhelpful posts in this thread!

@happylittlechick something is unique or it's not. It can't be more unique.
Just telling you so you don't sound ignorant.

@YoniAndGuy

It just sounds like yet another vowel-start-blah-middle-a-at-the-end generic featureless slightly made up name.
I agree with Yoni. It has been around forever but it does seem to be yet another El name.

Lara, Lyra,... type names are so popular that she'll probably end up correcting people.
