What are your thoughts on the name Ezen/Ezan, by itself or as a nickname for Ezran/Ezren? I really like them all, but think the first two would be more suitable for a girl, I love Ezren too, but not sure if people would think it was odd for a girl Confused.

Never heard of it.

Changethetoner · 16/11/2020 21:21

did you make it up?

It was discovered on a name site I was trawling through! Reappeared on another and caught my eye again.

I like it but I don't think it would make much sense for Ezen to be short for Ezren. I also did at first assume it was for a boy, I think because of Ezra, but I still think it would be nice on a girl.

I also prefer Ezren to Ezen.

Ezren is a fictional wizard. It's like naming your daughter Gandalf.

GemmeFatale · 17/11/2020 05:50

Ezan is a call to prayer.

Ezran and Ezren are male names. It’s a bit culturally insensitive to take a male name from another culture and use it for your daughter.

LondonlovesLola · 17/11/2020 05:54

Have you not googled these names? Hmm

Oneandabean · 17/11/2020 12:55

Aren’t they male names? I thought Ezren was a male name.
Ezan/Ezen just looks made up or mistyped Evan.

No babies in England or Wales have ever been called Ezren/Ezen. 3 boys were called Ezran last year.
